I was just guessing at what character was Landsman supposed to be tribute to :o !

I don't mean the character himself is a tribute to someone, I mean the character makes a tribute to another character. Remember when they held a wake for a fellow cop, and he gave a bit of a eulogy? Well, he sort of does it again. You'll have to watch the final season to see what I mean by "sort of".

I remember when AYB first watched it, he didn't pick up on it either, but to be honest, I read about it prior to seeing it, so all those moments just fall into place. Like when Michael runs home when he's told his step dad picks up Bug from school, he's afraid of what might happen when the two are left alone.

Well, that wasn't "stabbing" per se

It was close enough.

It's deffinitely a moment that makes a second watching completely worth it.

IF I hadn't known at least

Saw the first three seasons, and JUST about to start the fourth.
This show starts subplots... with ACTUAL INTENTION of bringing them to a close. (Looking at you Fringe...) Its satisfying.
VERY fun show.

BIG SPOILERS, THE WIRE

Jimmy McNulty..........................playing Ozymandias.

I don't know if I should feel okay that David Simon has utterly DESTROYED one of my favorite characters on the show

But damn me if I don't find this storyline to be incredibly intriguing nonetheless !

It´s the US version of Shameless WJK...

Avatar, if Macy is in it, it can only be the US version

And NO, yeah, DB:E was shit, and he played a douchy kid on War of Worlds, but the dude is a good actor. THis proves it. That being Rossum, Macy and Jeremy Allen White are the standouts in my opinion.

Copy the url and paste it into a new tab. Problem solved.

But I might have to check this out.

I thought Chatwin was alright in the Invisible, and Macy is awesome so...
hmm.

*strokes chin thusly*

So I've been watching the 2nd season of The Wire and so far I'm not loving it as much as the first. I understand and I actually love the idea of having more characters and a differnet setting, but it feels like at three episodes in, the writers are struggling keeping in touch with everyone, resulting in a lot of unresolved threads per episode. I know that this is an episodic show, but too many characters are reduced to "blink and you missed it" moments.

Almost every fan of the show has said that of the 2nd season. You will change your tune by seasons end, I promise you.

I bought the entire Batman: The Brave and the Bold series on DVD today... so that will occupy my free time for awhile.
