It's under TV Shows > Sci Fi & Fantasy. There's a banner at the top.

It also comes up if you search within the iTunes Store for "Watchmen".

Argh it's not working! Is it because I've got UK iTunes? I go to the store then click "TV Programmes" and there's a list of featured episodes...
When I search it only comes up with music...

I really like the motion comic who is doing the voices? . Also, if you go to trailers in the itunes store, there may be something there you might be interested in.

Long-time lurker here...

Just finished watching the first episode and thought it was quite good. The animation definitely reminded me of the old Marvel cartoons from the 60's. Whoever plotted out the animation in some of those sequences deserves huge kudos. Particularly great work on Rorschach's search of Blake's apartment.

On the audio side, it was more like an audiobook reading than anything else. Pretty sure it was just one guy doing all the dialogue, but it really didn't draw attention to itself... until Laurie started to speak. Wooops, hormone pills! :D Apart from that, a decent performance and good music too.

All things considered, it was as cool as I had hoped it would be. Can't wait for the rest.

Yeah, I thought this was very well-done. I wish they could've hired a few more voice actors, but oh well.

The attention to detail was staggering and the animation was pulled off quite well. The music was nice and understated, too.

This is really cool. Only watched a little of it and put it on my ipod. I'm going to Las Vegas for vacation soon and this should make for some fine entertainment on the road.

Anyone know how often WB will have these coming out? I know the last one shoud be about the time the movie is out, but like to know how often I can get the new ones as they come out.

I love that short - I remember managing to get it from iTunes easily...
Irrelevant...

Superherohype have reported on the motion comic and apparently it can be downloaded from http://www.ew.com/ew/static/watchmen/watchmen.html

I tried it and it said "not available from uk store"

Can someone please please please upload it - i'm sure WB wouldn't mind as it's a freebie anyway...

After watching the motion comic, I am very impressed with how well they put the comic into motion. Its a pretty amazing hybrid between comics and animation. But it leaves me with the question of whether or not they are trying to attract the uninitiated into watching this. It is a more passive activity than actually reading the book itself so that may attract some of the people who saw the great trailer. It should be much more interesting when we get to the last few chapters. Unless they change the end of the motion comic (read blasphemy) Veidt will live and there will be a rather large sexual cephalopod in Manhattan, which might be different then the ending of the film that the are using this to promote. This sort of possible disparity between the two products would not be a very good strategy (I think)

Wow, I'm really impressed with the first episode. Early impressions:

• I feel sorry for whoever had to scan all those elements and pull them apart for animating - I would never have guessed they'd go that far in animating limbs, eyes, fingers, all with a realistic 3D motion, and even some focus-shifting - very, very nicely done

• it must have been a big decision not to lip-synch the mouths - that would have been a ton more work, but at that point it would really be close to full animation - but the fact that everything else is so fully animated, and then someone speaks and their mouth doesn't move - that can be distracting

• I never realized until now how direct and kind of clumsy (sorry, Alan) that exposition by cops in the beginning, about the Keane act and the adventurers' retirement, was

• never noticed the Superman-ish symbol after Rorschach leaves Veidt - that can't be an accident

• Adrian's voice wasn't what I imagined it to be - and Laurie's was not good - they definitely should have gone with a female in the role, or at least pitch-shifted the voice a little higher

• Rorschach's mask's constant motion - something I've imagined for twenty years - is somewhat distracting when you actually see it.

• Juspeczyk is pronounced with a "Y" sound instead of the "J", huh?

• even the text effects were nice - the way Rorschach's journal entries slowly appeared, as if they were being written - the way additional bubbles were added onto existing bubbles as they were spoken, Rorschach's wavy bubbles, bubble tails that moved and pointed to the characters as they moved around the shot - really, really well done

I'm psyched, and I hope this brings in the uninitiated. We'll see.
