Did anyone else find this a bit -- confusing? I've been a very big fan of Miller for quite some time, and having finished the book last night I'm a bit weirded out by the artwork. It's a train for your eyes.

I think he's off the film now, actually.

I read parts of it years ago and recently bought the book to re-read it. Big fan!

Didnt know about the film, should be interesting if they get the style right.

I've never read this book but enjoy Miller's writing style

Should I check it out?

I'd still check it out, becuase I recently read Arkham Asylum and HATED the art work, but loved the story, so still check it out, it maybe worth it

The only reason to look at Ronin is for the artwork. If you don't like that, I certainly can't recommend it for the writing. It's one of Miller's earliest, outside of Daredevil, and it's pretty bad.

I haven't read Ronin, but I still suggest checking it out, because people told me that DKSA is a terrible book, but I liked it, so everyone has varying opinions, give it a read and see, I'm going to check it out

Well, he was canvassing opinions, so I gave mine. I suppose the "everyone has different tastes, so try it anyway" gambit trumps all.

Well, I didn't want to start a debate, it's just that after DKSA I realized that many people differ in opinion from me, so I decided to take a just read it approach and leave it entirely in the readers hands
