Yes you read right.

This classic post from the old newsarama boards sparked an almost two year long thread, including hilarious wikipedia edits (which have thankfully been corrected) and photoshop shenanigans.

Can you imagine what would have happened if InDaMix had posted that here?!

Let it be known: Anyone who insists with such regularity that Alan Moore didn't write Watchmen will instantly be banned.

Deservedly so too! I love how the other forum members kept messing with the OP.
How anyone can get it so wrong and be so damn stubborn about it is beyond me.

An EPIC FAIL of monumental proportions and no mistake!

It went on to inspire a brilliant parody poll in which members had to vote for the "greatest graphic novel of all time": Grant Morrison's Watchmen or Amazon's Attack

The true genius of it was that beside Grant not writing Watchmen (obviously), Amazon's Attack was an EPIC FAIL of a mini-event DC threw out at the beginning of 2008 - truly awful in every sense.

I'm now officially a fan of InDaMix! 8-)

But then such a classic thread will never exist in the 1st place!

EDIT: Come to think about it, InDaMix is either a hopelessly ignorant 'comic fan', or a brilliant trickster who successfully deceived everyone. Either way, I'm still a fan! :D

He's almost certainly messing with everyone there. Classic troll.

Brilliant when he turns up again, nearly 2 years later and comments on the fact that the thread is still on the front page of the forums  Not many trolls could create such genuinely entertaining threads.

Moore did V for Vendetta and a lot of other good books. Morrison did Watchmen. Their names sound similar so people get confused sometimes. You aren't the first person I heard make that error.

Reminds me of this acquaintance I had who dissed the July trailer because "I don't like Frank Miller books." ASDFGHJKL;

At least he didn't say Alan Moore was a better Bond than Connery.

Woah that guy got ripped to shreds on that forum ha...
it's this response that made me laugh!'

No, no, no, don't you people see?

Grant Morrison is a magician.

Alan Moore is too.

Therefore, through levels of mystic voodoo...THEY ARE THE SAME PERSON!!! Moore is an earlier version of Morrison who traveled back in time to create Alan Moore..but its really Grant Morrison! Who is really Alan Moore!!! Don't you people see? Its a TIME LOOP! A time loop, I tells ya!!! With a big twist! Its all a wheel!!
