I'd only buy it if they cast the actors from the film to redo the voices. Hearing silk spectre as an old dude is really creepy.

Just get out your avi editing software, give a girlfriend the microphone and you can uncreep yourself..

That reminds me of a story from old Star Trek. Some little old lady who thought Shatner was hot used to tape-record the episodes each week and dub her voice over that of the leading lady.

I can assure you that the shrill and incessant complaining about them is far worse.

God forbid people express their displeasure over such things as Laurie the Tranny.

Dude, for the last time, there's no Watchmen movie coming out. People need to stop saying that.

What gives?

First I noticed the article on the homepage about this said the webisodes come out "every three weeks". And I'm all, "that's not right, it comes out every two weeks".

Plus, this site also said it came out on Tuesdays, but I was able to get it as early as Sunday, and at least after midnite (technically Monday AM) consistently. So I'm like, "okay, this site isn't infallible".

But anyway, I've been trying to download webisode 10 all day and it's not showing up. Did they change the release schedule?

I print what they tell me in their official press releases. Whether they follow the release schedule the tell me to print, is their business.

I'm not one of those people that complain about every little thing (i'm fine with no squid) and i can sit through most things (i'm a film student and have had to watch some weird, weird things) but i find it very difficult to sit through the motion comics.
I could make it through the first one though i found Laurie's voice distracting but after seeing the beginning of chapter two with her and her mum i knew i wouldn't be able to take it seriously.
I even showed some friends to get them into watchmen and they just burst out laughing when they say it and couldn't take it seriously. Their experience of watchmen now is just a joke.

I've taken to letting them run at parties with the sound off. People get intrigued and you can almost follow it by reading the speech bubbles. :D

Really? But I thought "Wanted" took the comic book superhero idea and completely tossed it out the window, so how would they do a panel-by-panel comparison? :?:

it wasn't the entire movie, i think it was only the few scenes were the book shared with the movie

heres an example of it:

I really dislike the motion comic. I don't understand why someone wouldn't just read the book. You can imagine your own voices and there aren't awkward half-animated movements. There are even things missing from the motion comic. That's my take anyway.

I'm not sure what the point of them either was but I still like them. I don't know if this is true or not, but Alan Moore said he doesn't even like the motion comics.

Yeah and Dave Gibbons doesn't like your face.

Yeah, but that's mostly because Alan Moore doesn't like anything.

I was going to purchase this a while ago but when I learned the same guy did all of the voices, even the female characters, I knew I would hate it.
