I'm very glad looking at these that I made my own comedian costume.

I mean, jesus, sorry these look really awful.

Just looked at them again. It's actually hurting my eyes. What the fuck!?

Umm...Huh...The only one that actually looks decent is The Silk Spectre II costume. I like that DDC pointed out that he's buying it for the Ms. for "personal reasons." :D

Yes, the Silk Spectre one looks hot, at least on the model wearing it...
Rorschach doesn't look too bad either, though in a very different way

but OMFG at the rest...they look worse than the Minutemen!!
Pathetic. Just pathetic.

I think the worst of the lot is the rubber Rorschach mask...air-hole slits?! What were they thinking?!

This other one looks much better. Despite the rest of the costume looking OK at best, notice the subtle holes for breathing. On the other hand, also notice how the mask just kinda collapses under the chin. Regardless, I think it would make a good buy for those seeking to make their own Rorschach costumes.

There are no words to describe how terrible this is, so these pictures and gif will have to suffice.

yeah, i'm sure some of the costume is salvageable/modifiable, i'm thinking the Dr.M rubber mask/gloves is probably ok as a "i don't want to shave my head and paint myself blue" fix.

*headdesk* *headdesk* *headdesk*

I can remember the complaints and debates on this forum that were triggered by the costumes' first reveals. If we only knew then what we'd be seeing now...

Swear to God, it's like they took their leftover Batman costumes from ten years ago and used them for Ozymandias.

But hey, at least they're leaving the original graphic novel designs alone.

This is Rubies. People. This is Rubies. If you are not familiar with Rubies, but you are familiar with dog shit, then you are familiar with Rubies.

This is the worst company ever. Of ever. Of every company that's made anything ever.

Ever. Dog shit. Done.

One question, the Silk Spectre II costume comes with that model? If yes count me in.If not fuck them all.

We need to talk to Comedian Carl to tell these guys how to make a good Comedian costume. These suits are pretty pathetic.

As utterly and transparently evil as these are, I can't help but looking at them. It's like trying not to look at a horrible car crash or something. My 'favourite' bits from the costumes, in order of character:

Nite Owl's trousers: no description required, or even possible. Also, the part of his cape that goes round his neck looks like nobody even bothered trying to shape or cut it.

Rorschach's Jacket: it looks like it's been made from a single large sheet of brown felt. It's not like some new or unusual movie prop they're trying to re-produce here - it's a jacket for god's sake.

Ozymandias: Holy fuck. Someone else can do this, i literally do not know where to start. Seriously, it could probably have it's own forum thread.

The comedian: Wow. Nice boot tops, I think they're meant to actually go over the boots though. What the fuck is that round his neck? Is that meant to be flesh coloured? Why!? I especially like the terrible photoshopped eyemask. Does that come with it?

Silk spectre: Hmmm, nice. I guess someone was sober when designing that one.

Rorschach mask: is barely recognisable as a fucking rorshach mask. It looks like something from hellraiser. Why couldn't they make the thing out of cloth? Y'know, the cheap and sensible way?

Doc Manhattan mask: Looks ok, but I'm fairly confident I would suffocate if I tried to wear it for more than a few minutes.

As you can tell I'm pretty disappointed by these. It's great DDC got an exclusive, but I'm really sorry from him that it turned out to be something as crappy as this.

Also, it looks like all the male ones are wearing fat suits. For nite owl that's ok i guess!

Well, the didn't "give" me the exclusive. My investigative skills dug these little treasures up from the bowels of the Internet.
