There is a video in the fan-made section called "Le'Fight" which has custom Ledger Joker being chased by custom Comedian. Those are mine :D !

I had a custom V and Rorschach, but they looked kinda craptastic.

Oh, the craptastic action figures are the ones you love way beyond you've lost all interest in the super neat professional ones.

I, however, have unpleasant memories of having all the action figures that people had donated to me over quite a few years being thrown out in the rubbish by my mother once when I was at secondary school. I sat down and was just too shocked to cry. People just don't understand.

I own exactly two action figures, and both are gathering dust in the den downstairs.

If I had more, I'd probably be tempted to do something stupid like this:

Seriously though, as much as Watchmen figures would look cool in the store, I would be bored with them as soon as I got them home.

So says the crotchety old man... :|

They're not too bad, either.

We all know how Alan Moore feels about Watchmen figures, so Im guessing we wont see any comic based figures anytime soon. That said, I have the 300 figure (shown in earlier posts) based on Snyders version of the comic, and I love it. SO! If they put out figures based on the movie that are the same quality as the 300 figures.... Ill support the hell out of them. In fact, thats my biggest wish for the upcoming Watchmen movie merch.

Here's an interesting thought. If they release the movie with action figures, will they also release the classic costumed action figures? Thought I'd throw that one out there. Also, these may only be rare novelty items since action figures are geared towards children. It may be a bad idea to make action figures from a rated R film, although kids may like the looks of them.

Hey kids! It's a Rorschach action figure! Complete with match, spray can, and finger breaking moves! Also comes with refridgerator!

Wow. They look even better than the prototypes.

Despite the irony of it, I'll be buying these. Can't wait for The Comedian to come out. He's a prime candidate for a custom. Can make him have switchable heads to represent different decades (Crimebusters, Vietnam scarring, Keene Riots, visit with Moloch, etc).

Places like Hot Topic and Spencer will carry the figures as well. Also, lots of online retailers.

I got mine in today and I REALLY like them. They turned out much better than expected. I think Nite Owl is my favorite, so far.

Very happy with these and can't wait for Series 2!

Hey Carl, I've got a question...in the Rorschach one at least, there's some extra bits of plastic. The squares go through the base and into Rorschach's shoe, I realise that. But what does that peculiar triangle one do?

All of them have that same piece, but to be honest I haven't put together any of the stands yet. I'll let you know when I figure it out. :D

I saw the series 1 figures in my local comic shop and I knew that I had to buy one. I'm gonna get Rorschach first, I just wish they weren't so expensive ($25 each).

$25?! I paid about £11 each for mine which, considering the $-£ exchange rate, is damn good :)

I was told by my LCS owner that they are more expensive individually than they are when bought as a set though.

Rorschach and Nite Owl II are fantastic, and my favourite figures of this first set.

TFAW has them at around $21.00

Yeah I got my lil' Rorschach for £11 too. Nite Owl and Veidt looks awesome as well, but Laurie - no, no, no.
Say LR, you don't happen to know what that little bit of plastic is for? The triangle shaped one?

I thought, once you've affixed their foot to the centre of the base using one of the square plugs you would then put the other plug up through one of the holes to the left or right. Doing the same with another figure, you could then attach the two bases together, side by side, by placing the triangle piece onto the spare plugs (thus 'bridging' the two bases).

Hopefully that's clear enough. It's the only use for it that I can think of...

I'll try it out and if it works I'll post a pic.
