You might want to examine the difference between "freckle" and "lesion."
I prefer not to take any chances when dealing with certain parts of the female anatomy: lesions, warts, strange freckles, etc. Remind me not to make out with you if we ever happen to meet.

He very clearly was influenced by the KKK. Check the hooded lynch mob motif of his outfit.
Too overly-obvious and simple of an explanation, in my opinion. I am not interested in why he chose a hood versus a corset and panty hose combination for his outfit. I'm more interested in the psychology/background of becoming the first wacko crime fighter versus his fashion origin. But then again that's why I prefer the History Channel over E!.

Not just "Blake's view." Read the book.[/color]
Hold on... doing that now... clown rape... naked blue guy... impotent owl-man...
Wow, reading this quickly I'd say this was more a fetish mag than a comic book. OK it's read again.
So what have I discovered upon my 2 minute world-record
Watchmen reading? We have a single line from Blake that was said after he had just had his nose smashed, and we have a letter from Sally's agent concerning HJ's "extracurricular activities." Neither addresses HJ's views on fighting crime, nor does anyone outside of Blake ever imply that HJ is only into crime fighting for a sadistic thrill. My point stands.
It'll be interesting to read the RPG stuff to see what it adds (if anything).
