Just 40 more days till the new season starts.

This is the latest season 4 trailer. It'll get you very anxious.

Yeah I saw it when it came out, and online the day after. I thought the episode could have been better, but that could be just that my expectations were so high. Still, it was a fast paced episode! And I found myself more interested in Hurleys flash forward than what was going on on the island.

i couldn't agree more. hurley's episodes are always good though... my only regret is that now i have to put up with the ungodly weekly wait for the next episode.

Well I was able to find the episode the day (or night, to be more accurate)after on this website http://tvshack.net. The episode was in very good quality, and split into two parts.

I'm bringing this topic back from the grave like Christian Shephard and requesting it be renamed into a universal Lost thread as season 5 approaches. I made an extensive analysis of Lost's Watchmen references here and more can be read on Lostpedia.

Wow, I totally forgot about this thread. Yeah, can't wait for season 5. I've tried to avoid spoilers as much as possible, but those video previews don't make it easy.

Not a bad idea. Although I will probably post on IMDb, that site is filled with so many morons, it would be nice to have some better discussion about the show here.

I think he'll be the Desmond of this season. I could see him having a "Constant" style flashback.

2 hour season premiere next week!

Don't worry, I could talk about Lost for hours. I won't let this thread die.

Okay, this will be the official Lost thread from now on. Kind of like "The Wire" thread me and AYB accidentally created a while ago.

You have my sword, dude.

Btw, have anyone of you seen the sneak peaks? I could post them, if you want.

Well, I've seen most of them, but you might want to warn everyone that they are pretty spoilerific. I even saw one small photo from one of the episodes, and was like "ah, why did I have to see that?".

Yeah, the other day I read the casting calls and I ruined a good surprise in episode 4-5. Fuck. I hate that. I decided to stay away from mayor spoilers, like chapters synopsis and stuff. With the sneak peaks I'm fine.

Dude, I saw one spoiler, that was just a photo (and not the one I was talking about before), and it was a pretty big spoiler involving one of the characters. I won't go into specifics, but basically it involved something I long suspected would happen to them.

For me, going in fresh is the best way to go. Seeing the season 2 intro without any prior knowledge was rewarding. And I know the ending to "Two For the Road" wouldn't have had nearly the impact had I known it was going to happen.

I only read spoilers in Season 3 (and not for every chapter, just a couple random ones, not very big). Season 4... well, I read some major, but not the finale. And yes, I agree, the beginning of Season 2 its a big "WTFOMGLOL".

So, just for fun, Best 5 episodes?. This is my list:

1- All cowboys have daddy issues
2- Walkabout (this touched me in a very special way, I had to use a wheelchair for two years and then I had to learn to walk again, and, you know, the end of this episode, with the music, the fire, the chair, the "DON'T TELL ME WHAT I CAN'T DO!"... I get chills every time I see it).
3- Man of Faith, Man of Science*
4- The Constant
5- The season 2 finale/season 3 finale (I can't remember the names).

* I know you will appreciate this, my cat and me:

I'm an enormous Lost spoilers junkie as I know several of the "big names" in Lost spoilers. The only things I don't read are episode synopses or huge revelations like deaths or whatever.

Let's not forget the Constant and its similarities to another famous work:

"It is 1996. I am in the military base. A drill sergeant is yelling at me to get up. It is 2004. I am on a helicopter. A scientist explains I must find him in the past. It is 1996. I am at Oxford. The scientist shows me a time travelling rat. It is 2004. I am on a freighter. A doctor tries to examine my eyes. It is 1996. I am in London. I encounter Charles Widmore at an auction, bargaining on a journal. It is 2004. I meet a man with a similar experience to mine. It is 1996..."

I'm practicing LOST promo abstinence. I don't want to see any trailers, clips, reviews, etc until I see the season premiere! 8-)
