So here's what I've been figuring: I personally thought the new Watchmen flick was pretty badass, some cast members like Jackie Earle and Patrick Wilson were terrific in the movie and matched the comic characters perfectly, while there's been some controversy that some actors, or more forward actresses actually made the movie die down in it's high expectations. For one, Silk Spectre I & II. LOL So in terms of having that Watchmen could be remade and become being the unfilmable cult classic it deserves to be someday, which actors and actresses would you love to see portrayed as our most loved Watchmen characters?

I guess on my behalf, for example, as much as I hated Akerman and enjoyed Goode's interpretations, I felt that there were better actors I really had my eyes on that would be flat out perfect for the role like Jack Davenport for Ozzymandias and Carrie-Anne Moss as Laurie.

Don't you think it's a little soon to be thinking about a remake?

If Hollywood is ever going to revisit this property (and I wouldn't put it past them), it probably won't be for another ten or twenty years at least.

Maybe it would be better to title thread "who would you have cast?" or merge it with an old thread from before the cast had been named.
