Between the Buried and Me - Colours: 4.5-5/5

AMAZING. Like a heavier Protest the Hero with some Dream Theater thrown in.

Arcade Fire - Neon Bible: 4/5

Not as good as Funeral but still good.

Lamb of God- Ashes of The Wake: 2/5

Repetitive, boring, waste of my time.

OMG I LOVED ASHES OF THE WAKE!

Sorry, it was the first metal album I truly loved. I agree the later half of the album isnt great, but the first 5 tracks are epic.

Wrath is better though.

Listening to: The Fragile by NIN (nine inch nails) love it.

I've been adicted to The Velvet Underground's Loaded and Green Day's American Idiot lately. Right now I'm dying to listen to some M.I.A., but sadly I must listen to my brother talk about the plumming supplies business. :(

After their recent release "Invaders Must Die", I've got re-interested in one of my favorite groups from my youth, The Prodigy. Although mostly known for their later stuff such as Firestarter and Breathe, their two earlier albums offer fast paced, hard hitting tunes. I'm sure they might come off as being very cartoony by today's standards (and they do) but they are a great singles band. They also gave themselves somewhat of a reputation of being a great live group. Which they are.

Unfortunately they released some crap after their biggest break through "The Fat of the Land" and were probably seen as a gimmick with the whole "Electronica" fad of the late 90's along with the groups they were lumped in with such as the Chemical Brothers, Crystal Method and Daft Punk. The fact that they're not even really a band (Liam Howlett being the main creative force of the group with Keith Flint and Maxim being the voice piece) probably hasn't helped them either.

Still, they seem to be making a comeback. They have gone back to their early rave inspired roots, and are able to drop songs, some close to 17 years old, into their set lists and have the crowds still go wild.

From the Phoenix festival in 1996. Still the best performance I've seen of not only theirs, but any group full stop:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKiuykwNuFw

Together Through Life by Bob Dylan. A fantastic album. Not a classic like "Love And Theft", but non-classic Dylan is still head and shoulders above the rest.

Blue Lines and Mezzanine. Two very different albums but two absolute classics. It's so sad that most people only know the group from "Teardrop". Also known as the theme from "House" (ugh :| )

EMINEM's new album Relapse.

Not an absolute classic, but has some good tunes, Dre's production is good. I just hope EM doesn't do to much after Relapse and doesn't out stay his welcome.

The album is good, and I think he should leave it that way.

Earlier.... Thriller by Michael Jackson and the Watchmen soundtrack

Right now.... Bucks Fizz - "Rules Of The Game", horrendlessy cheesy ABBAesque pop from the early 80's

Later on.... might put "Thriller" on again, never realized how good it was until now!
